Corsica Off-Road: Rugged, Pure, and Unforgettable 4WD or bike off-road driving in Corsica is an unforgettable adventure filled with rugged mountain trails, breathtaking views, and pure freedom. From deserted sandy beaches to steep rocky passages: this island will challenge you and reward you with every kilometer! A mini tour of an island that is often overlooked but boasts breathtaking landscapes, spanning just a few kilometers from the sea to the mountains. This is an excellent introduction to off-roading for those new to the world of off-roading and looking to savor the thrill of a relaxing journey without too much effort. 4 days to fully discover the wild and mysterious side of this fantastic island, dirt tracks and challenging mule tracks leading to white beaches and a crystal-clear sea. Your car You don't need a super-tuned vehicle! A low-friction set and tires at least 50% are all you need. Rental 4x4 with rooftent possible PROGRAM Day 1: Bastia and St. FlorentThe meeting point is set in Bastia in the early afternoon. Those who wish can take the ferry from Livorno , Genoa , or Savona . A short briefing will follow, and then we'll head north. After about 20 kilometers, we'll begin climbing on a beautiful, panoramic dirt track that crosses the finger. We'll crest the Col St. Jean. From here, you can admire a fantastic 360° panorama. The track then begins to descend, leading us to Nonza, famous for its black sand beach. We'll continue on asphalt to St. Florent, where we'll spend the night at the campsite. |
Day 2: Des Agriates and Saleccia A brief visit to St. Florent and its fortress, then immediately towards the Desert des Agriates , Casta, where the trail leads down to the famous and breathtaking Saleccia beach , for a swim and lunch. We'll then climb back up the same trail to the asphalt and reach Bocca di Vezzu , where a challenging 13km mule track begins. It will test both riders and equipment, but the effort will be amply rewarded by the view of Ghignu beach . After a few hours of relaxation, we'll return to the Ostriconi campsite for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3: Belgodere and Ostriconi Beach Following a largely undiscovered trail along the coast, we'll cross the wildest and most inaccessible part of the Agriates desert. From there, we'll continue along the Belgodere trail , overlooking the Ile Rousse valley . After a picnic lunch, we'll descend and arrive in the afternoon at another of Corsica's most famous beaches, Ostriconi , where we'll spend the night at the adjacent campsite. Day 4: Return to Bastia Wake up early and return on asphalt towards Bastia , we will have the opportunity to stop at a local winery in Patrimonio , then from there towards Bastia to board the ferries to our destination. Given the nature of the itinerary, there may be significant changes to the program/route due to weather conditions, safety issues, or permit revocation. In these cases, the organisation will implement the necessary route changes in consultation with local authorities, finalizing any new itinerary with them, always prioritizing participant safety.
