Insurance
Cancellation insurance
It can be useful to take out cancellation insurance because you do not always get all your money back from the tour operator. The Offroad Guide has of course already incurred costs and its rates are calculated on your participation. Read the cancellation page.
It is up to you whether or not to take out such insurance.
Health insurance
According to Dutch law, you are required to be insured against medical expenses. These insurance policies all have their own rules about compensation for illness or injury abroad. Please inform yourself about this in your own country. Bottomline: you will have to arrange an insurance that pays for your personal damage in case of accident or illness.
Travel insurance
Whether you insure yourself against theft is not a condition for The Offroad Guide. It is important that you take out accident travel insurance. You can then hand over the details of this insurance to the tour guide, who can then contact your insurance company if you are in a situation where you cannot do this yourself.
Whether you have a continuous travel insurance policy or take out something separately for this trip;
Please note that:
- your insurance is valid for the country you are going to (also due to the Corona color code),
- you are insured for repatriation.
- your insurance actually covers any separate activity that you are going to do. For example: motorcycling, off-road (4x4 or motorcycling) or risk/outdoor sports in general.
Being well insured is a condition for participation
In the participants' agreement you sign that your travel insurance meets these conditions.
